Product Information

A huge "Torador" matchlock gun. Circa 1790s early 1800s. It measures 71inches (180.5cm) in length. Guns of this size were fare to long and unwieldy for used by ground forces. Being able to out range normal long arms they were much better suited for use as "fort" guns or fortified positions. They are completely hand made and often tailored to an individuals requirements. This one still has its cleaning rod and bowl change. When the trigger is squeezed the copper wire which would be lit ignites the powered in the bowl. It has a full working action.

This is an obsolete calibre rifle and is sold as a collectors item only.
