Product Information

This is a European 5 shot Velo-Dog pocket revolver chambered in 7mm (obsolete calibre). It dates to the late 19th century. The Velo-Dog was a revolver originally created in France in the late 1800s. The name "Velo-Dog" comes from the portmanteau of the words "Velocipede" and "Dog"  and as the name suggests it was used to defend cyclists on their velocipedes, who were likely to be set upon by wild ferocious dogs. It corporates a lever safety on the left side of the frame and folding trigger to avoid accidental discharge. It can be cocked, stripped and dry fired and bores are still in good condition.

This an obsolete calibre revolver can be owned without any form license.

It is being sold as a collectors piece only.
