This is a lovely condition Belgium made double barrel box lock percussion pistol, circa mid 1800s. This fine example has removable barrels and still has a very strong and crisp action. Both action work independently of each other.  The action is hand engraved with scroll work detailing. The pistol grip is hand carved from Walnut. Interestingly it appears to have made for a right handed person. The left trigger sits deliberately further forward than the right making it far easier to fire both trigger left handed..The calibre is around 10mm or .40 and barrels measure 3 inches in length.

Chambered in an obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license.

It is being sold as a collectors piece only.
