Product Information

Antique obsolete calibre percussion pocket pistol with original finish and wooden grips. Made Circa 1840's. As the name suggests they were designed to be easily concealed. Ideal as a deterrent or back-up pistol. There are faint markings on the barrel. Possible the makers. The barrel is 3 inches and bore measures around 11mm in diameter or so (nearly half and inch). Understandable a pistol of this age is expected to have some wear in the action. It works, and can be cocked and dry fired, but the hammer doesn't always hold back when cocked. We found that simple making sure the trigger returns correctly after firing ensures it cocks correctly and fully every time. Chambered in an obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license.
