This is a very nice original pair of British made box lock percussion pistols, circa mid 1800s. Both pistols have Birmingham proof house stamps. The bore size / calibre is around .45 (11mm). They were often used for dueling or for personal protection.

Accompanying these pistols is a bespoke hand made felt lined compartmented oak display case complete with powder flask and various associated accessories and tools.

Chambered in an antique obsolete calibre they can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
