A lovely original condition Adams type .32 Rimfire D.A.(double action) revolver. Circa 1860s. The retailers name on the top strap is "C. McLoughlin Cheltenham", who would have original sold this revolver. The barrel and cylinders have the correct period Birmingham proof stamps. This style and type of revolver was often privately purchased by officers and "gentlemen" as a personal or back-up pistol. It has good tight action with very good cylinder bores and strong rifled barrel.

Chambered in an antique obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license. It has a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
