A very impressive large calibre, single barrel percussion musket. Circa 1840s with London Proofs. Fitted with a Walnut stock with hand chequering. The heavy barrel is 34 inches long and is chambered in a massive 8 bore. The lock features foliate engraving with brass cap to the half stock. Full length ram rod with brass end cap. Still in great condition with a firm tight action.

Chambered in an antique obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license. It has a very good condition bore and full working action.
