Product Information

This is a "Gahendra Martini" under lever rifle chambered in .577/450 . This rifle is based on 1869 Westley Richards patented design. It was manufactured locally in Nepal under the direction of general Gahendra Rana in the 1880's, and consequently it is often called the, "Gahendra Martini". The rifle was issued to elite Ghurka regiments, and was considered superior to the original Martini design. The stock and receiver are marked with Nepalese military markings. It comes fitted with an original cleaning rod.

This rare rifle is chambered in an obsolete calibre and can therefore be owned live without any form of license. The bore is in very good order with strong rifling throughout. It can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.

It is not deactivated in any way and is being sold as a collectors piece only.
