Product Information

Rare Colt, New Line .41 colt with British proof stamps and engraved name. The .41 New Line model is fairly scarce with only 7,000 ever made from 1874 to 1879. Serial numbers are known to have run from 1 to 10,700.  Included within this serial number range is the .38 model. This example is serial number 9674 and has the correctly Colt barrel marks. It also carries British (London) proof stamps on the barrel and cylinders. The pistol grip is engraved with what looks to be the owners name. Chambered in an obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of licnese. The bores and rifling are still in very good condition. It has a full working and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
