Product Information

This is a rare British, Sharps patent Pepperbox four barrel pistol in its original case, circa early 1860s. The frame is marked Tipping & Lawden who were a known gun makers trading from 1838 to 1876 in Constitution Hill, Birmingham, retailing high quality firearms. This example features a four cluster forward sliding barrels with a rotating firing pin. It has its original hand engraved plated finish and gutta-percha grips. The calibre is .31 rimfire. Accompanying this pistol is its original solid wood felt lined and compartmented case.

Chambered in an obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license.

It is being sold as a collectors piece only.
