Product Information

This is a rare Swedish manufactured rolling block artillery carbine M/1864-68-85, chambered in 12.17mm (.50). Dated 1874 it has all matching numbers. Very few were ever made for the military, just under 7,000 in total. The regimental disc reads "V.T.B. B. No23", we believe that this maybe an abbreviation for the Vaxholm Supply troop Corps, weapon number 23. The initials on the barrel are the workshop markings (place of manufacture). On the inside of the foregrip, hand written is the name. The most legible part is "Ragnar Aoberg" followed by the date.

This rare rifle is chambered in an obsolete calibre and can therefore be owned live without any form of license. The bore is in very good order with strong rifling throughout. It can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. The action is still tight and crisp.

It is not deactivated in any way and is being sold as a collectors piece only.
