This is an all matching numbers US Civil War production Colt 1851 Navy percussion revolver chambered in .36. The serial number dates this example to 1863 as the year of manufacture. Its safe to say that this example has definitely seen active service. Note that on the right side of the barrel above the loading arm mounting point that there are two impact marks. Incredibly the action is still in good working order and it indexes correctly every time.

Chambered in an obsolete calibre this revolver can be owned in its live form without any form of license. It has a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.

It is being sold as a collectors piece only.
