This is a US made Allen & Wheelock Percussion Revolver chambered in .36. Produced between the 1850s and early 1860s, this model was originally intended for the Providence Police Department in Rhode Island with less than 700 ever made. Many saw service during the US Civil war. It has a smooth action and is perfect working order.

Chambered in an obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license.
