Product Information

This is a genuine US manufactured Colt 1862 Pocket Navy percussion revolver, circa 1862, chambered in .36. This is an early example with all matching numbers. The serial number puts it well within the known serial range used during the US Civil War (1861 to 1865). There were only 47,000 Model 1862's manufactured combining the Navy and the Police model revolvers. This example differs from most by virtue of an additional rear sight as well as the forward one at the end of the barrel. It has a 6.5 inch barrel and 5 shot capacity with rebated cylinder. Brass trigger guard and pistol grip with solid wood grips, case hardened frame, loading arm assembly and hammer and blued barrel and chambers.

Still in good working order it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. This historic revolver is chambered in an antique obsolete calibre and can therefore be owned live without any form of license.

It is not deactivated in any way and is being sold as a collectors piece only.
