Product Information

This is an original US Civil War production US made Rogers & Spencer, Army Model .44 percussion revolver. They were originally manufactured by Rogers & Spencer in Willowvale, NY from 1863 to 1865. During the US Civil War the United States government contracted Rogers & Spencer to make these solid frame pistols. The Rogers and Spencer Army Model Revolver was actually an improvement of earlier pistols produced by the firm - the Pettingill and Freeman revolvers. It is estimated that around 5,800 were ever made before the contracted ended. This is number 5,248. It has all matching numbers and is still in perfect working order.

Chambered in an obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license.

It is being sold as a collectors piece only.
