The finish and grips are original, it has the correct Colt address, patent and calibre markings and the barrel is correct at 7 1/2 inches and octagonal. Note the frame still has the hole below the barrel where the loading rod would have fitted when it was original manufactured for a percussion revolver, and the number 29 on the loading gate. This to is correct, Colt used pre numbered parts when converting these pistols. Rarely seen in the UK a genuine Colt.

Chambered in .38 Rimfire (obsolete calibre) this revolver can be owned in its live form without any form of license. It has a full working action.

It is being sold as a collectors piece only.
