Product Information

This is a very rare Dutch Beaumont Vitali M1871/88 bolt action infantry rifle. This rifle was originally an M1871, and then converted into a repeating rifle in 1888. A box magazine was added using the Italian designed Vitali 4 round spring feed box system. Incredibly this example is all matching numbers. The stock bears the Crown W , for King Wilhelm III (1849-1890) with the date stamp of 1877. The 1860 stamp on the barrel  is in fact the serial number of the weapon. The "222"  is batch the number and are all matched. The markings of the but stock plate look to be regimental. They were known to have been used during WWI.  Chambered in 11mm obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license. It has a great condition bore and full working action. A real collectors piece.
