Product Information

This is a rare Webley Bentley double action "self cocking" percussion revolver that was retailed by "Lummis, London". Circa 1860s. This rare variant features and spurred hammer and can be fired off both double and single actions. The calibre is around .41" (10.4mm). It uses a Colt-type wedge to secure the fame to the barrel and Tranter style loading arm. The muzzle has a chamfered end and the barrel rifling is still very strong thoughout. The majority of the original deep blued finish remains and the hand chequered solid wood grips are unblemished. Correct period British proof are found on the under side of the barrel and on the cylinders.

This historic revolver can be owned live without any form of license. It has a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired and the action works smoothly indexing after each cycle.

It is not deactivated in any way and is being sold as a collectors piece only.
