Product Information

This is a superb example of a US military issued M1 Garand rifle. This particular M1 is one of only 210,000 that the Springfield Armory produced between 1954 to 1955. Serial numbers that were allocated ran from 5,278,246 to 5,488,246. The date code on the barrel confirms that this one was made in 1954. The initials "A A" on the stock may represent that it was issued to an Anti Aircraft unit during the Vietnam War? Although closely associated with US infantry units from WWII, the M1 Garand continued in service with the US for many years and being used in post WWII conflicts.

Deactivated to current specifications with tensioned cocking lever, moving trigger and working safety.
