Deactivated WW1 Russian M1895 Revolver

This is a WWI dated Russian M1895 Nagant revolver with matching numbers to frame, cylinders and trigger guard.  Manufactured by Tula who in 1918 only produced an estimated 53,000 of these revolvers. The M1895 revolver prodominently issued to Russian officers and NCO's as their standard sidearm. Russia entered WW1 in July 1917 siding with Allied Powers. That year also saw the beginning of Russian Revolution as the country was in thrown into political turmoil as the Russian people set about abolishing its ruling monarchy. This example would have almost certainly seen service again during WWII as well. Deactivated with a working action.
