This is a German Bundeswehr - German Federal Office of Defence issued Walther P1. This pistol dates to February 1976 (2/76) and is marked with the initials BW - Bundeswehr and would have been issued to a serving member of the German military or Federal police. The P1 is a near identical copy of the WWII Nazi P38 but with aluminum frame. Included is a black leather holster. The P1 has been deactivated with a working action.
