Product Information

This is a WWI Model 1890 Turkish Mauser bayonet as used by the Ottoman Turkish forces during the First World War. Turkish frontline troops who served against Australian, New Zealand, British and Indian (including Gurkhas) troops in Egypt, Palestine and the Gallipoli peninsula were armed with this model of bayonet. An estimated 280,000 rifles were manufactured, presumably a similar amount of bayonets were made as well. This example has covered in Turkish markings. The overall condition is very good and it will also fit the Turkish M1938 rifle.
