Product Information

This is a genuine US manufactured "Civil War" era Colt 1849 Pocket percussion revolver, chambered in .31. In original condition with all matching numbers, including wedge and loading arm.  The serial number dates 1861 as the year of manufacture.  They were used during the US Civil War (1861 to 1865) and proved to be a very successful model for Colt with production starting in 1850 and finishing in 1873 with around 325,000 being made. It has a 4 inch barrel and 5 shot capacity. Brass trigger guard and pistol grip with solid wood Walnut grips. Steel blued frame and cylinders with the stage coach scene. 

Still in good working order it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. This historic revolver is chambered in an antique obsolete calibre and can therefore be owned live without any form of license.

It is not deactivated in any way and is being sold as a collectors piece only.
