This is a great condition Second World War era Swedish m/07 Husqvarna Browning M1907 pistol. The initials G.B. are those of the Swedish inspecting officer Gustaf Bjorkenstam. The Swedes first produced this model to arm its own forces during WW1 after the German occupation of the FN factory in Belgium, who had been suppling Sweden. The design is a direct copy of John Browning's very success FN 1903 pistol. As is to be expected, the Swedes build quality is equal if not better than FN's.

During WWII Sweden declared their neutrality however, they were never completely confident that Nazi Germany would honor this declaration, but they were able to stay out of the war with certain concessions to the Nazi's such as allowing them to ship troops and equipment through their country's railroad system. However, they did share military intelligence with Allied forces and armed their intelligence officers with the M1907 to defend themselves. Deactivated with a working action.
