This Second World War German P38 pistol is from the very first block of 1000 pistols produced by Walther in January 1943. At the beginning of each year Walther would normally start production using serial number 0001 and after reaching 9999 would then start the next block with 0001A through to 9999A and so on. This gun has no letter suffix and is therefore gun number 827 from Janusry 1943's production run. The slide bears the correct Walther AC43 designation and Eagle over 359 acceptance stamps. The pistols has matching numbers to frame, slide and barrel and is fitted an original set of with "Oxblood " grips and a wartime magazine. Deactivated with a working action.
