Winchester Model 1873 Under Lever Rifle

This is an original US made Winchester Model 1873 Under lever Rifle chambered in .44-40 calibre. The serial number dates to 1882 production and is one of 27,887 made that year. One of the most successful, and certainly one of the most famous Winchester rifles. The Model 1873 was hugely popular and is credited as "The Gun that won the West". It inspired western film classic "Winchester '73" starring James Stewart. This example is good original condition. The bore is in reasonable order for a rifle of this age.
