Product Information

A stunning condition OLD SPEC WWII Bren MKI, manufactured by Lithgow, dated 1943. One the best examples available with all matching numbers including barrel and bolt. Lithgow only produced the Bren from 1940 to 1945 only managing a total of around 17,500 Mk I and MkI(M) during this period. Very few in gun terms. This super example is fitted with the correct adjustable bipod, rear dial sight and early "humped" stock. Originally issued in 1943 (43), the markings on the receiver show it was then FTR (Factory Through Repaired) in 1952, a very good indication of service use. A museum worthy examples. Deactivated in 1993 to old specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
