Deactivated 1914 Dated Webley & Scott MKIII Flare Pistol

This is one of only 1,151 MKIII brass flare pistols that was produced by Webley & Scott in 1914. Webley's earliest surviving production ledger states that in September 1914 serial number 2400 was made. This pistol is number 2471 meaning it is number 71st from that years production batch. The additional numbers (161087) were most likley added when it was reissued or as a rack or inventry number. Very few of these early flare pistols now survive.

Deactivated with a working action, it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
