Deactivated 1916 Dated SMLE No1 MKIII* .303 bolt action rifle. Manufactured by Birmingham Small Arms. This example has some unusual markings. It has "US" stamped on top pf the receiver and what look to be unit markings (AL18463) on left hand side of the metal butt stock band. A great looking rifle rifle it comes with a WWI dated 1907 Pattern bayonet and canvas sling. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
