This is a rare completely original British manufactured Baby Tranter .22 rimfire revolver, circa late 1850s to 1900. The barrel is marked with the retailers name and address "Park Field & Sons London", who were a very well known retailer of quality firearms. The grips are made from animal bone. The brass frame is beautifully hand engraved with a floral pattern. This revolver would have originally been purchased by a Gentleman as his personal revolver. Rarely seen in deactivated form, a real collectors piece! Not to be missed. Deactivated to current specifications with clear chambers that index correctly when the hammer is cocked.
