This is a rare US manufactured Colt Thunderer revolver, chambered in .41.The Thunderer was first introduced in 1877 and was Colt's first double action revolver that proved to be hugely successful for them. This example dates to 1888 with matching numbers and still retains some of the original nickel finish. Deactivated sympathetically to current specifications with a working action and clear chambers.
