Deactivated OLD SPEC WWII Smith & Wesson .38 Victory Revolver. An early production example with low serial number V131007 dating to mid 1942. Matching numbers to frame, barrel and cylinders with original parkerized or phosphate finished and wooden grips.. Marked on the top strap "United States Property", US flaming grenade on the base of the pistol grip. Production first started in 1942 to supplement the shortage in handguns, the model 10 (Victory revolver) was issued with both US and Allied forces. Production ceased in 1945. Deactivated in 1992 with clear chambers it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
