Product Information

This is a rare Swedish contract Brevet Nagant "1893 Norwegian Model" revolver. This is one of only 13,000 revolvers produced for the Swedes during the 1890s at the Leige factory in Belgium. This revolver being an early example serial number 4,328th from that contract and has the correct proof stamps. It retains its original finish and wooden grips with all visible matching numbers. The design is very similar to the Russian M1895 Nagant revolvers. The inventor Emile Nagant had close ties with the Belgian factory, with the first contract of 20,000 M1895s supplied to the Russian army by Brevet Nagant.
