Deactivated Winchester Model 1892 Rifle with provenance. This is a unique model 1892 dating to 1907 production and chambered in .32 WCF (Winchester Center Fire). This rifle has been owned by at least three generations of the same family. Whilst under the ownership of the family it was used during time spent in Australia and has had a unique hand carved Kangaroo and Emu in the stock. It was brought back to the UK and held on a firearms license before being deactivated. This rifle is supplied with a receipt from the gun shop who carried out the original deactivation work in 1978 and a letter (Permit) from the Chief Constable of Warwickshire stating the ownership of the rifle. The rifle is still in great condition with a lovely patina to the metal work and a smooth crisp under lever action. This rare and unique rifle . Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
