Product Information

This is a 1916 dated Webley & Scott MK6 .455 service revolver. This revolver was refurbished sometime after WW1, possible in preparation for WW2. The original date stamp is no longer visible however the 1916 acceptance stamps are still clear. Just visble on the back strap is it marked "1 over 1939". The revolver is covered in broad arrow acceptance stamps and has factory matching numbers to frame, barrel and cylinders. The grips are also original First War issue with the characteristic broad arrow stamp within the diamond centre section. The MK6 still remains synonymous with the British officer as he leads his men "over the top" out of trenches. A great many MK6's were re issued for the Second World War.

Deactivated to current specifications with clear chambers. The cylinders will index when the trigger is pulled. The break action V spring is missing. A repalcement is easy to install. This is reflected in the price.
