WWI & WWII Eddystone P17 (M1917) Rifle chambered in 30.06. Manufactured in March 1918 (3'18) with matching bolt, original barrel and stunning matched wood work. Marked with the correct cartouches and US ordnance stamps. These rifles were original issued during the first world war to help supplement to shortage of British SMLEs. Once received in the UK many remained in service and were then re issued to the British Home Guard during WWII. Comes with an original 1916 dated Remington made bayonet, plus five 30.06 inert rounds and canvas sling. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
