Product Information

This is a WWII dated Bren MKII that was made in 1944 at the Inglis, Toronto factory in Canada. Inglis were contracted to produce the Bren initially for British forces and then for all Allied forces starting in 1939 and ceasing in 1945. This Bren would have been made in preparation for the D-Day landing of June 1944 and for use as Allied forces liberated Europe. The Bren saw frontline service in all theatres of operations throughout WWII and is regarded as an essential weapon and in part for winning the war. It was a very reliable and accurate machine gun being used as an effective ground infantry weapon and as an anti aircarft gun.
