Product Information

This is a stunning condition British manufactured Bren MKII dated 1944.  Above the date it is stamped with the wartime dispersal code M67 and a capital letter D. This could easily be mistaken for an Enfield mark but is in fact the mark of the Daimler Motor Company who were contracted to manufacture Brens as part of the Monotype Corporation. The serial number RB4122 is from the very last batch ever made by them before the war ended. Monotypes last batch of Brens were serial numbered from RB1 to RB10000. They only produced 83,438 Brens from 1942 until the end of the war. This has to be one of the best examples available with matching numbers to barrel, receiver and trigger group.
