Product Information

This is a fascinating WWII Enfield manufactured No2 MKI .38 revolver. Dated 1931, the military stamps on the barrel confirm that it was completed and accepted into military service in early 1932. On the base of the pistol grip are several sets of regimental markings both of which have been struck through, meaning the revolver was reissued several times. The markings read; "R.S.1" and below this "W.C.S.C. 2". We believe that R.S.1 is an abbreviation for The Royal Scots Regiment, 1st Battalion. The second set W.C.S.C. 2. we are currently investigating. The The Royal Scots 1st Battalion were virtually destroyed defending Dunkirk in 1940.
