This is a great condition Second World War British, Enfield made Bren MKI. Dated 1943, it still has its original "humped" stock. adjustable bipod legs and rear sight assembly. Matching numbers to the receiver, trigger assembly and barrel release catch. This particular example also has date stamps of 1946 and would have returned from active duties and been put through the Enfield factory for repair or refurb. This is a very good indication that this Bren saw active service. Deactivated to current specifications.
