Product Information

A superb condition WWII Russian PPSH41. This early example is dated 1942 with ALL matching numbers, and is one of the most iconic machine guns of world war two, instantly recognizable with its drum magazine and short chunky appearance. During WWII, if captured by German forces, the PPSH41 was often used as a preferred weapon of choice. Simple and clever design meant it could be manufactured quickly and in large numbers, plus it worked in all environments and needed little maintenance. 1942 first saw the PPSH begin to arrive in quantities to Soviet troops, being deployed and proving very effective in brutal close-quarters street fighting in Stalingrad. This example would have been among those batches. Not only were most battles fought within the shorter effective range of submachine guns, but they were far better suited when fighting in the close confines of buildings and streets.

This excellent example comes fitted with an original wartime sling and 72 round drum magazine and correct canvas sling. Deactivated to current specifications with tensioned cocking lever and working safety.
