A great condition WWII SMLE No 1 MK3 rifle. Manufactured by RFI during the Second World War it has a 1942 dated and broad arrow acceptance stamped barrel. All parts fitted are correct for this model with the characteristic square protective fore sight blade wings. Even the magazine is RFI marked. The bayonet is also RFI and is dated 1944. Post WWII it was "FR" - Factory Repaired in 1950s. This usually a good indication of service use. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
