Stunning deactivated Enfield Martini .303 breech loading under lever action rifle. Originally dated 1879, it was converted in 1895 from .577 calibre, to the then new .303 round. The Martini was most famously used by the out numbered British 2nd Battilion of the 24th foot during the battle at Rorke's Drift. Comes fitted with an equally impressive original, dated socket bayonet with leather scabbard. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
