Product Information

This is a great condition WWII Sten MKII that was made by Long Branch in 1943. During the Second World War the British Government approached Canadian firm Long Branch to produce the Sten MKII. The initial contract for 17,000 units was placed in August 1941. In total Long Branch only produced 133,947 MK2's before the contact ended. This final figure is very low in gun terms when you consider ROF Fazakerley made some 1,950,000 Sten's. Many never made it across from Canada, transport ships carrying these vital supplies were targeted and sunk by German U-boats, making these Sten's that much rarer.

The great example comes fitted with a "T"stock and wartime dated sling. Canadian Sten's were made to a much higher quality than the British ones. It has been deactivated to current specifications with a tensioned cocking piece and moving trigger.
