Deactivated 1915 Dated German Gew98 Rifle

This is a First World War dated Imperial German army issued Gew98 rifle. The receiver is stamped with the makers name Spandau and date of 1915. This rifle has definitely seen service with many blemishes to the stock that can only have been aquired during an active service life. It has the initails "PLO" carved into the left side of the stock and has had an SMLE sling swivel fitted.The bolt is matching numbers to itself however, the rifles serial number and bolts are both "a" prefix.  If you are looking for a WW1 German rifle thats definitely been there, then this is the one to have!!!
