A pre WWII Nazi Luger. Dated 1936 it bears the early drop winged Eagle Wehrmacht acceptance stamps with the correct S/42 makers code on the toggle. Matching numbers to all parts including both grips. The magazine is Nazi marked and carries different numbers. In 1936 Mauser produced around 90,000 Lugers during the pre war armament build up. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
