This is a unique DWM, Berlin (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken) made manufactured Mauser carbine. The woodwork has an unusual step cut into the underside to aid grip when shooting. This military model of carbine was sold in both Europe and overseas by DWM. With no obvious ownership markings and a distinctive rear sight this carbine may have either been exported to South America or possibly part of a small European order? Deactivated with a working action.
