This a rare Beretta model 1922 pistol, chambered in 7.65mm with matching numbers. The two dates on the slide are patent numbers. This model was actually released in 1922. They are rare as only 43,000 were ever made. The two tone colour, flat based magazine and metal grips are all correct for this model. Any very interesting fact is the hammerless design, which was the last of its type to be adopted for military use. It has been deactivated very sympathetically to old specifications with a clear barrel. It can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
