Product Information

A superb condition old spec WWII German MP40 Submachine Gun chambered in 9mm. Manufactured by BNZ 43(Steyr Daimler-Puch, year of manufacture 1943). Matching numbers to trigger assembly and receiver and with its original blued finish, bakelite foregrip and pistol grips. Correctly stamped with waffen code WaA623. The magazine housing is the early type with a slot at the back. This was omitted on later models. One of the most iconic weapons of all time. The MP40 was only in production from 1940 to 1945. The MP40 was issued widely throughout the German army with infantry divisions and SS units receiving them first in 1940. With vast majority being destroyed or captured during the war, these iconic machine guns are now becoming very hard to fine. This great example comes with bespoke one off hand made lined solid wood case, plus leather sling and inert 9mm rounds. Deactivated in 1989 to old specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
