This is a First World War issued Imperial German army Gew98 rifle. Dated 1916, it was made by DWM (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken) and carries the correct military acceptance stamps. The G98 was the standard infantry rifle used by the majority of German frontline troops throughout the Great War. This example comes with 5 inert 7.92mm rounds and clip. Deactivated with a working action.
